The 2026-2027 school year opened on Monday, Sept. 14, at Chicago City Day School. Students returned to campus with smiles on their faces, ready for a year of discovery, learning, and friendship. Teachers eagerly launched curricula that are designed to spark questions and inspire students' imaginations.
In the coming weeks, students will go on field trips, begin rehearsing for the fall dramatic production, learn new scientific concepts, build teamwork skills on the volleyball court and soccer field, and much more. We can't wait to see what this school year will bring!
