Learning continues after the last class of the day

A key belief behind the program at Chicago City Day School is that learning is a lifelong pursuit. That includes the time after the school day ends. 

City Day offers seasonal slates of after-school activities each year, allowing students to pursue additional interests and passions. The activities, which change three times a year, are led by City Day teachers. 

This winter, the after-school program includes chess & checkers, Harry Potter-themed activities, Kawaii crafting, ice skating, and more. Earlier this year, the slate included fall-themed art projects and Lego building.
