Chicago City Day School's annual Halloween celebration took place Friday — a festive day of costumes, games, and pumpkin carving.
Rainy weather forced all activities indoors, but that didn't dampen the fun. In the morning, students in junior kindergarten through grade 5 led the traditional costume parade in the gym, with the older grades cheering them on.
The afternoon was filled with a variety of seasonal games for the younger students, including Pin the Bowtie on the Skeleton, pumpkin bowling, and eyeball relay races. Students in grades 6 through 8, meanwhile, carved pumpkins in the cafeteria.
City Day's Halloween celebration reinforced feelings of school spirit and served as a fun kick-off to the fall holiday. See photos from the day below.
