When I look at the top performers at my high school and now going on to college, they are almost always City Day alumni. I believe wholeheartedly the City Day work ethic and the school environment make you a top student. Michael Cardoza City Day alumnus

An article recently published by Chicago Parent magazine highlights Chicago City Day School's success in preparing students for high school and beyond.

The article profiles Michael Cardoza, a member of City Day's class of 2020, who is headed to Georgetown University this fall to study finance. Mr. Cardoza credits City Day's teachers and the school's supportive approach for helping him become a curious and hard-working learner.

“City Day is my first alma mater and it will always mean a lot to me,” he says in the article. “It helped shape me and put me on my path.”

City Day, founded in 1981, was designed to meet the unique needs of elementary school students. By the time our students graduate, they are well prepared to handle new challenges in a new school environment. Each year, our graduates attend top high schools in Chicago and around the country.
