The Halloween activities at Chicago City Day School are a highlight of the fall season — a chance for students and teachers to have fun and celebrate school spirit.

This year's celebration took place on Oct. 31, Halloween day. The fun began in the morning with a costume parade featuring students in junior kindergarten through grade 5. Parents lined Hawthorne Place to watch the students (and many City Day teachers!) show off their amazing garb. In the afternoon, the younger grades played games such as Pin the Bowtie on the Skeleton and the popular Bobbing for Donuts outside on the lawn, while older students carved pumpkins in the King Café.
