At City Day, the learning continues after school

After the final "bell" of the day, Chicago City Day School students stay busy. Some learn how to play guitar. Some hone their ice-skating skills. Others create cat-themed works of art.

Welcome to City Day's After-School Program!

Each season, City Day offers an eclectic array of activities that students can enjoy after dismissal. These activities, led by City Day teachers, give students the chance to explore interests that lie outside of the regular school curriculum and learn about their teachers' passions and hobbies.

The winter 2025 offerings include guitar lessons; ice skating (on City Day's campus rink);  French baking; a volleyball clinic; the "Kitty Cat" art club; and activities that revolve around Harry Potter and Taylor Swift.

Previous sessions have included flag football, tap dancing, and gardening. The After-School Program at City Day underscores our commitment to engage and inspire children in a variety of ways.
