Our Application Process

We are here to help you

Ready to apply to Chicago City Day School? Wonderful! The first step in the process is to fill out and submit our online application form. Once the School has received the completed form and the $75 application fee, a member of the Admissions Office will contact you to schedule a private visit and begin our admissions process.

Applications for the 2025-2026 school year are open.

Chicago City Day School is selective, and we take a holistic approach to the admissions process. Academic aptitude is key. Our admissions team also considers character traits, special interests, and other factors that might indicate a particular applicant would benefit from, and contribute to, life at City Day.
