The Chicago City Day School's two-acre campus is located on a tree-lined street in Chicago's Belmont Harbor neighborhood, less than a block from Lake Shore Drive and Lake Michigan. Spectacular classroom buildings provide 71,000 square feet of imaginative space designed and constructed particularly for elementary school-aged students. The School received national recognition from the architectural community at the time of the completion of construction in 1998. State-of-the-art facilities include spacious classrooms, two fully-equipped science laboratories, an expansive library, two computer laboratories, two regulation-sized gymnasiums, a cutting-edge foreign language laboratory, an inviting art studio, and a sophisticated theatre. |
